Unteres Odertal Nat'l Park, Germany

from $18.00

In 2018 I traveled to Germany to film a trio of videos with the Museum für Naturkunde (Museum of Natural History) in Berlin, which houses one of the largest collections of animal voices in the world. For decades, researchers have been planting recording devices in the wetlands of Unteres Odertal National Park along the border of Poland, creating a rich audio library documenting species diversity, migration patterns, and even population size estimates.

You can watch The Animal Sound Library on The Brain Scoop to learn more.

The original painting is also for sale.
